This is how my 1970 Challengers came out.

First you have to reach through the seats..... here's a picture to show where.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

This is what you are reaching in to find. The bolt has already been removed in this picture, but you see where the bolt would be.....

This is the bolt put back in the car where it holds the top back partion of the seat.  The rear top back portion must be removed first.  Then the bottom peice will come right out.

The picture is of the side that would be facing the trunk.  It is out of the car... but you can see how the bolt holds it to the frame.

I might be doing it wrong, but mine go in and out VERY easy with the two 5/16" bolts.  Once they are removed everything is easy as pie.  I would imagine that you would have to push PRETTY hard to get the bottom seat portion out with the top still in.

I would suggest removing these two bolts before anything else.  They are VERY easy to get to.  Good luck and if you need more help feel free to call me on my cell.   :2thumbs:

Thanks guys for all of your help.  After pushing anfd pulling, I finally got the seat out.  Although the other ways suggested may work just as well, I found it very easy taking the seat out as CODY suggested.  But once a gain thanks to all who came to my rescue.  If only had I found the broadcast sheet.  What is the aluminum tag on the rear spring of the seat back for>

Glad it worked out for you.  To bad you were not able to find the broadcast sheet.  Dang it!

Have you checked behind the front seats?

Yes CODY, I checked the front seats as well but nothing.  That was a nice car you and your wife picked up.  I realy enjoyed how you documented the event.
