i've  got all my wiring back in car Except one 'beige/cream  color wire that goes thru fire wall close to the power brake booster? thou  it looks to me that it's  the female connection to the short wire from my ignition coil -ve terminal? Anywhere I  can down load a wiring diagram  for the dash it's  my last mystery

The  problem  I have as of now i have not gotten the starter to turn by key yet thou it works  fine on the bench ....how do i  jump it at the starter relay ( which is new)?  I  have the head/tail lites  working, brake lites, four ways, interior lites, high beam indicator........working on the signals prhaps  a flasher problem. Nodash lites thou......yet to have it run so gauges an unknown...............any help appreaciated...............thx

I think that you are talking about the TACH wire. On some years it came out by itself through a grommet.   Follow it up color-wise to see if it comes out on the tach (rallye cluster only).     Under the hood, add the wire to the negative coil if you dont have one.

Starter problem:  Check for 12 volts on the yellow wire while in start position.  Check for a ground on the other small terminal when the trans is in park (auto) or clutch pushed in (manual).

Shelbydogg.........thx  for your help.....tach  wire hooked up, also  found  my other problem  and can now crank the engine  with the starter. Found a  large gage red wire 'cut'?...don't  know if prior owner had a switch in there? .....OLO for now  I  soldered in an length of #8 and  we're working.
