Heater control
« on: July 27, 2006 - 10:57:08 PM »
I have a '73 Barracuda, with A/C. I am trying to free up the buttons on the heater control panel. They move, but just barely. Is there a lubricant I can spray into the control without screwing things up? I know that this is the vacuam controller for the heater box doors, and there is some current that passes through the thing (based on the electrical connectors present on the back.) Or can these be found in order to replace my old one? Also, the back panel of the switching block is a little loose, though it doesn't look like this thing is even supposed to come apart. I figured on trying to Epoxy that piece shut again. Again, unless someone knows where another can be bought. By the way, the control I am talking about is the off/max ac/ac/heat/defrost controller.
