Firewall Insulation
« on: July 25, 2006 - 03:14:21 PM »
Hi guys,

I am trying to install the firewall insulation pads for my 71 cuda with A/C.  I was only able to figure out two of the six pieces only because they had the holes in them. Anyone have a diagram of where these pieces go.  I am stumped...and itchy from that darn figerglass.

Thanks,
Ed

I always found one on each side, over the lower door hinge bolts, shaped to fit the holes

Thanks guys and thank you Plum for the pic.

Here is a picture of what I have left in my kit.  The two that I was able to figure out went on the left side of the steering column and the right side of the column next to the fuse box. The rest don't make sense to me. The package did say for a 71 Cuda with A/C. :clueless:
