The ORIGINAL Vanishing Point is my favorite movie of all time.  I have a Vanishing Point "clone" car. 70 Challenger R/T white. 426 Hemi and pistolgrip 4 speed.  Very few people recognize the car when they see it.

If you get a chance, please e-mail me some pics of your VP Chally.  With your permission, I'd like to add it to my web site listing of VP replicas....

By the way, a big HELLO to everyone in the group!   :)

Nopers....

None of the V.P. Challengers had striping of any kind....

Five Chally's were used in the orginal (1971) movie....Four were 440's, one was a 383...

But, in the 1997 V.P. remake, THAT Challenger did have a black tail-panel over the rear tail lights....

My car is in the paintshop now. I talked to you about it nearly a year ago. 426 Hemi, Solid roller cam, dual fours and four speed pistol grip. I will DEFINATELY send you some pics as soon as it's finished. It's coming along very nice. OH, by the way we used PW7 Bright white.
