disc brake ?
« on: June 01, 2003 - 01:28:03 PM »
 ???
i bought these disc brakes last year and had a friend put them on my cuda. i was told they came off of an e-body car. i was looking at them the other day and noticed the position of the calipers. does it look wrong to you or did some cars come with them in the top front. my friend said that he thought they looked funny too. any suggestions or will this even work. i am not a brake man so i don't know. any help would be appreciated. keep on moparin!!!

The position is ok , they will work in any position 360* around the disc & you get the best cooling effect if they are towards the front , as for wether they are E body I know the 70-71 had the pin type caliper , I can`t remember if the later E bodies went to that style of caliper

They look identical to the calipers on my '74 'Cuda. I would say the are good.
