Easiest way to remove Rally Steering Wheel

Have done many steering wheel swops, mostly on GM cars. Just need a little advice on removing a Rally wheel from my 71 Chally.

I think the wheel comes of easily, just pop the cover off and remove 3 or 4 nuts and it should come right off.  Its the can under it that is alittle more challenging.   


Should post a pic to make sure we're talking about the same wheel.

Like 4C said the wheel is held on with 3 nuts that are found under the horn button, its a real easy job.....the crush sleeve is a lot harder but you shouldnt have to remove it.

Do you just pry the horn button off ? or is something holding it on?

on 70/71 there are 3 screws holding the cover on the wheel from the rear then pop the horn button off & undo the 3 nuts

If you need to remove the crush-can, and it has never been off before, you need a steering wheel puller. Don't ask me how I know.
