When applying the decals, spray winddex on the dash, this allows you time to move the decals befire they adhere. Press the decal on with a papertowel and let the windex evaporate

Ah- Ok thanks
Do I stick it over the existing wood grain or and try and remove the original- sorry if this is a dumb question but the original looks tricky to take off

You can put it over the original. Trying to get the old stuff off, is TRUELY a pain. Also, if you use a harsh chemical to remove it, you might tarnish the metal trim.

Hmmm
not sure if I brave enough to try it as my original is not so bad- a couple of scratches thats all. It may be best left as is. Is there any other solutions?- Did i read about complete replacement metal plates somewhere?

Yes, you can get the replacement metal plates. I did that, but they aren't cheap. I think about $169.  :clueless:
