Ask the seller for the VIN, if he gives it to you I can check my files and see if I know anything about it for you.

It obviously isn't a numbers-matching car with a 2:73 rear. It doesn't look bad, but he says it needs paint?   :dunno: No, the car doesn't look perfect, but a big block 70 at that price is worth a look.

Looks nice. I wonder why 73/74 bumperettes were added. I'd rather have the holes in valance for the spring shackles showing than cover them with those. It also has the 72-74 wheels.

Other things I am unsure about would be the argent tail panel with the ‘Cuda emblem. Shouldn’t it be flat black with the ‘Cuda emblem and argent with a Grande Coupe emblem? Finally, is that a “by Plymouth” emblem under the ‘Cuda? I think that’s 71 and up only.

Okay. It’s official. I’ve been on Cuda-Challenger.com too long and have become a nit-picker. A little over a year ago, I wouldn’t have been able to tell you the difference between a 70 and 74 ‘Cuda.

My guess is that some 73 parts were put on the Cuda. The bumpers wheels , hood hinges and seats could have come from a 73 or different car. Looks like the rear window trim is missing and it has maybe Challenger rocker moldings.  On the left side of the cowl it has some rust streaks.  If it is a Cuda, it is priced right and would be a nice car to finish as you drive.  Hope you can get a VIN.  Let us know.

With that argent taillight panel and the overhead console that he says it has it my be a Gran Coupe.  Did anyone else notice that the heater control bezel is for a non-rally dash? I would say it's a pieced together car. Not worth the asking price in my opinion, but it has a lot of nits to pick to bargain the price down. :naughty:
