1970 AAR rear valance question
« on: August 09, 2006 - 02:31:57 PM »
I have this rear valance.  It is dated 9-16-69. It is cut along the bottom different than other 1970 units I have seen.  The others are actually cut more.  Does anyone know why?  Do I have an unusual piece or did Chrysler just change how they cut them later in the model year?
Thanks,Tod

That's a early E-body Barracuda thing.  Kinda like the hoods with no crush zones and the console with the slot.

It's not special for AARs or anything like that. I have a couple of those myself and they are 69 date codes too

I see  them on E-gag and they don't seem to be worth more money
