heads identity

Any help with identifying the heads on my 383 would be appreciated.
My engine is assembled and in the car so this makes it a little difficult to search for the casting #
The casting # that I found is 3462348, the block is stamped as a -70 block however the heads could have been replaced.
If I would build a stroker using a 413 crank would these heads do whithout porting. Looking for to get 375-400 hp.

Hey Len, the number doesn't match my book but I do show a 3462346, it shows 1971 383 or 440 4 bbl or 3X2 bbl applications. The valves are: 2.08 int and 1.75 exh. They are the largest valves of all the Mopar big block heads. (excluding the hemi of course)

Had a second look and yes it could be a 6 as the last digit.
What do you guys think about a stroker with this head.
Read an article in MMM about a stroker 383 with a 413 crank, but they built it with 906 heads
What limits my plans are that I am using manifolds for the exhaust.Want it to lock stock.
However it`s high performance manifolds from -69 -70, I beleave anyway
This are the casting # for the manifolds
drivers side: 2951865-1
passeng side: 2806900

virtually any of the stock iron heads flow approx the same amount of air so sure they work aswell as any factory iron head
 off the top of my head those are the performance exhaust manifolds you can make great power with them porting both the heads & manifolds & using a carefully selected cam

The 906 heads are great heads, but each factory performance head has there own unique features.... Some have bigger valves than others... Some have a closed combustion chamber... Ect ect ect.... Now as for the 906, I've seen, somewhere, that they've been listed more for racing, than the other heads that could be more "street friendly" but I don't believe everything I read.... Anyway, if memory serves me right, the unique featur about the 906 heads is the floor design?

516& 915 have closed chambers , I use them a lot with flat top pistons to get quench
906 has a riser on the intake floor same as the 915 but is open chamber
any other open chamber head is about equal in flow to the 906
the last head 452 casting has induction hardened seats which can mean virtually nothing if you do a valve job on the heads & grind the seats
915 & all open chamber heads had 208/174 valves sizes , earlier closed chmber heads can be opened up to 1.74 exhuast or even 1.81 as can any of the open chamber heads
