318 flywheel on a 360

I have the template to drill the 318 flywheel to balance for a 360 but what I don't see if a reference to the proper position on the flywheel in relationship to the crank. I know the flywheel only fits one way on the crank but looking at the diagram there should be a reference to either a offset hole or the notch on the crank so as to not be 180* off

I have the PDF file that explains the flywheel but it starts to reference the proper position according to figure 13-15 but that picture was not included
Does anyone have this from the old manual as it isnt in my newer manual

I've never seen that drawing.  From the drawing you attached it looks as if the crank mounting holes are not equally spaced therefore it can only bolt on 1 way (foolproof).

true it can fit the crank only one way but when you lay out the flywheel it can go any way you want ...basicaly what it is missing is a reference to top  or to one of the offset bolt holes as some of the holes are only 1/8 " off symetrical

if you look closely at the diagram the 10& 11 o clock bolt holes are the 2 that are very close together , only these 2 are positioned like this

I have one of these flywheels that I picked up from a friend. What I'm wondering is How much did that drill bit cost you Outlaw?

I located one for about $40.00 and one slightly larger (1 1/4") for $45.00
