  Ya I'm new, I've had my 1972 Barracuda for about 5 years and am just now starting to restore it to as close to original as possible. It's Gold Metalic with a black vinyl hard top with the 318, low miles with medium rust. Will be alot of work and "MONEY" but am looking forward to bringing it back to life. Well enjoy to talk to everyone as I go.

  I did the same thing with my challenger.  Drove it until the 318 engine started smoking.  Then parked it for three years while I bought parts for it.  Then had the body gone through and put it back together.  The moment I got the car started and drove it down the street I realized I'd forgotten over the past four years I wasn't driving it what a joy it was to take cruising.  My car was pretty much a junker for the first four years but now it is slowly becoming a cruising classic.  Welcome!!!
