jeryst,, can u tell me a little about your 68 runner.  the sound of that makes me think about the 68 runner I once owned,,, burgundy with white vinyl top, white interior, 383 magnum, 4 sp. Was a fast car for me way back when  only problem was keeping fuel in it (something about that 4bbl kicking in  :droolingbounce:  )and I think gas was around $0.38 a gallon  :burnout:

68 Road Runner. 383 Magnum (Original). Automatic on column. Complete. Build sheet. Fender tag. Almost all original (front bucket seats not original). Gold color. Runs and sound great, but no brakes. Needs total resto. Bought it from a guy who had it under a carport for 20+ years. Top of it is good, but it sat on bare ground all that time, so it needs floor pans, trunk pans, quarters, and complete frame rails. I bought it because I always wanted a 68 RR. Unfortunately, I don't have the knowlege or talent to deal with the rust issues. Would make someone a good project if they are into doing it all themself.

Here is a  picture of my Challenger. Not much to look at now. But, hopefully, I will find some fenders and doors soon.
