Door Gasket

Installing gasket on front door 70 challenger how does the white clips go in ? ? I can get the closed end in put not the open end.

I would've never realized these are difficult to figure out.

Are you sure you have the right ones?
The ones that come with the weatherstrip kit are pretty easy to figure out.

This is what I used. No brainer.

Yes those are the hooks . . I thought is was a no brainer also . I inserted hook in to hole and pushed pretty hard put they never lock in. Do they really lock in ? ? I can pull them out after I press them in . .

Yes they should lock into place , is the paint too thick around the holes ?

Put the clips on, stretch the weather strip onto each one all the way around each door.

Doesn't matter if they move around. The weatherstripping will pull them tight inside the door.

Depends on the brand of weather-strip you're using....some are really thick and hard to use....try pushing harder...

good idea .. I can use my air chipping hammer .. Should do the trick
