Work completed week of 9/17/2006.
« on: September 18, 2006 - 10:08:23 AM »
I didn't get as much done as I wanted this week, but was able to get the under side of my new shaker converted hood painted.  I started the final work to the top and it is close to ready for paint.  I was also able to get my rubber bumpers ready for paint also.
Cudahob came over on Sunday to return my rotisserie and gain some motivation to get back to working on his project.  I think I helped, but you guys need to start working on him too!

Got the valves lashed (again) on the Beast and installed new valve cover gaskets.  Hemi's are finicky about valve lash and if you are running solid or roller cam setup, you must stay on top of em if you want em to run right.  Also checked the carb set up and made a few very minor adjustments.  She's sounding good and is just about ready for some 1/4 mile fun....   :burnout:    I'll keep y'all posted......    :cooldancing:

Instead of posting a thread each week with work completed, you all should start a thread in the Member's restoration projects and just add to it every week so we can all keep up with the progress.  Then it will all be together too!   :2cents:
