SEM classic coat
« on: September 01, 2006 - 06:09:38 AM »
A local dist. told me about SEM classic coat.  A paint, not a dye, for doing interior colors.  I'm looking for something to refinish the 70 Chally black doorpanels and center console.  He said just clean them and multiple coat them with classic coat.  He said the paint is so fine, that you will not loose any surface detail.  He said it won't peel or chip either.  Its for seats, doorskins...whatever.

Anyone use this stuff yet?  What color would you use on the black mopar interior?   semi-gloss black??

For black you want to use Landau Black COLOR COAT.  You are basically painting milk bottle plastic so prep is very important.
