I need your help, please look. This guy is running a scam!
« on: September 07, 2006 - 10:25:56 AM »
You have to look at this Swedish web site, this guy has posted my pics and info from my ebay listing and is trying to sell my Charger in Sweden.  Does anyone know Swedish or Dutch or whatever that language is so I can stop him?

Somebody over seas is about to be taken for a ride in a bad way!

This takes some large ****!  What can I do?  I don't live in Sweden, last time I looked Fresno is still in California!

Thanks

Michael

I have just emailed the web site to have it removed and investigated.

Thanks for the help from our Swedish brothers!

In Sweden the speak Swedish. It's close to Norwegian so I can read was it says.
He says that the car is in the US. And basiclly he is seller the service of bringing a car like this to Sweden. Are you selling your Charger? See many adds like this here in Norway as well. So it's not meant as a scam...

I am starting to understand what he is doing, but the fact is he is witholding crucial information like the rust areas.  His photos are cherry picked out of all of mine to represent the car in a favorable light.  This is lieing through omission of facts.  Can he answer the prospective buyers questions, NO!

This guy is trying to sell somebody elses inventory without taking possesion of it.  He has done this without my consent and if he approached me and had full disclosure to his clients I would not have minded.

He is scamming people for two reasons, the one stipulated above and that the car is not his to sell yet. :villagers:

Anyway thats how I feel about it.

I completely understand your point of view. I'd be pissed to, if it was my car.

Let me understand.  Is he selling a service to transport the car taking care of all that has to be dealt with or is he trying to sell the car by providing some type of brokerage service?

If he is selling a transport service then all is cool, but if he is trying to find a buyer for the car and is misrepresenting the car, tehn that is bad  :nono:

This is the case!

No! He is not selling a transport service, because if that is all he was doing he would link up to my ebay auction and let the buyer be well informed and in communication with me so somebody on the other side of the planet doesn't get disappointed in their purchase.

And as I said he is not disclosing all the facts!
