some pictures of my engine bay, After I pulled the motor
« on: September 07, 2006 - 11:28:45 PM »
Hi,
I figured I would post some pictures of my engine bay work. Last month three days before a show, I went to wash the cuda up and I lost oil pressure on my matching number engine. So I pulled her out and blasted the engine bay, painted it up and dropped a spare 340 in it. Here is some of the pictures during the process. I need to take one of it done. Im planning on repainting the rest of the car, thats if it doesnt get the best of me!

later,
Jesse

I found Factory undercoating around the heater box hoses, and were the insulation plugs poke thru the firewall, and over by the vent flap.

Looks great, pettyblue!

Are you building the matching #'s engine or just going to keep the one in there now?

Thanks guys! A guy just gets fusturated with working on it all the time, mybe if I keep fighting her she will finaly give in!

I used a stripped to losen everything up, scraped it down some, then on lower pressure from a distance, I sand blasted it nut not staying in one spot for to long, I didnt want to worp the metal. It turned out just fine. If you do it right any you are carefull sand will work wonders! I will shoot a few pictures of it back together today.

Thanks again!
Jesse
