Well, I think the cars are evidence, that gets held until the end of the trial. I know of a citron yellow '71 CUda 340 ragtop, matching numbers freshly rebuilt, that was pulled from the body shop when the owner was bagged for selling drugs. It was a body shop. Th car is jambed, but still in primer, no top yet, just the frame/lift, and the engine was all redone and installed, carb to pan. The hood wasnt bolted on, so the car is sitting behind the local police station as evidence, open to the weather (no cover, nothing) and it's in CT. So come December, it will fill with snow. To bad really. At least my buddy got a RR off the guy the day before the bust.
