Cuda Trunk Mat advice please?

Hi

Just got a trunk mat for my 1973 Cuda but am unsure if its correct.
Could anyone tell me the dimensions it should be?. Specifically the depth front to back. Is it 30 1/2" It fits in most places but shouldnt it go or does it go right to the back of the trunk??. Also there a 4" cut out at bottom left which seems out of place

Sounds about right, it won't go right to the back. You should have certain cut outs.
It will have cut outs for the Filler tube, spare wheel assembly, jack and possibly a couple of others.

The 4" cut is to slip over you scissor jack hook.  I'm not a big fan of those mats, to me they're ugly and cheap looking....I had some custom ones made, just an idea.

No worries mate and thanks. 

I may have been too harsh on the OEM mats.
They're OK just better can be had if factory correct isn't a worry. 

Mine has a center piece attached by 8 clips that click in (like board-short clips that click into each other).
If I spill something or it gets wet I can un-clip the center piece (where the liquid drains to) and hang it out to dry and/or wash it. Just a little custom piece that is useful to have. Just throwing out some ideas.
