i do not use the choke how do you take the plate out do you have to cut it out

Is their screws in the buterfly screwing into the shaft ? :chatting:

no it looks like its presses between the shaft

You can pull the choke plate out. It's been a few years, but I've done it. Grab your pliers, and go at it.

Undo the screws & pull the plate out of the shaft then slide the shaft out , it will all go back together no prob
