Where does it plug in??????

Hi, i just bought a new turn signal/hazzard switch for my72 challenger from year 1. I installed it but it comes with 2  plug-ins on it, the big one is  plugged in and is ok but there is a smaller plug-in , where does it hook up to, any one know?? Also  the hazzards seem to only work  when the the signal arm is in the turn left position, anyone know why and how to make them work only when you pull out the hazzard  switch??  One more realated  ??  Where  does the wire from the ignition key light on the column   hook up to under the dash??   Thx Everyone.............Tim

I have seen those switches but have not figured out what the extra plug is for either , the light is a seperate yellow wire that plugs into the timer
