Body Cart Suggestions...
« on: September 10, 2006 - 09:40:19 PM »
I have just dropped the front suspension and back axle on my 70 Challenger.  The car is now 99% torn down and I am looking for a "cheap" way to roll the car in/out of the garage.  It is a smooth surface (expansion grooves only).  I am still looking for a welder, so am limited on materials. I thought I read a thread a few months ago discussioning a simple wooden frame (2x8 or 2x10) and four castors.  Any suggestions or links?  Particularly, what recommendations on a set of castors that will support the body.

look in the how to section.. there is one member who has some good articles on making your own body cart, and it looks cheap too. Good luck...

:dunno: I may be a bit slow and can't find the "how to" section.  I found one under Archives, but it did not have any links for what I am looking for... :1zhelp:
