Selling My Cuda Convert'-Updated!!!!
« on: August 30, 2006 - 03:27:23 PM »
UPDATE-My paint guy can no longer do side jobs as i was planning on freshening up the paint in the engine compartment. It is presentable the way it is, but could be nicer. We are planning on doing it here at the house in a couple weeks. I have reduced the price to $99,900 if someone wants the car the way it is. I will most likely delete this after the paint work is finished and offer it again in the spring. My wife was also notified she will most likely be loosing her job come the first of the year which is another reason for the price drop. If it doesn't sell i have a line to buy my 71, ughhhhh!!! Gotta be one of the best priced convertibles available. Thanks for all the looks!!!!

I have decided to sell my ragtop. There is some info on the car on the link below.

https://www.autabuy.com/Vehicles/Details.cfm?VID=92761

I have some detailing to finish under the hood before i advertise it on the bigger websites and thought i would post it here prior to really advertising it.I have more pics available upon request, you can e mail me for them or you can e mail for my phone number. A little history on the car is it was sold new in Massacusetts and remained with the original owner until 92 or 93 when it was purchased by the 2nd owner who restored it. I have some dated resto pics available. Not too many pics were taken as he started this car in 93' , long before documenting a resto was important. I purchased the car in January of this year, i found i really dont care for rags as much as hardtops. The car is all numbers matching including dash vin, fender tag, rad support, cowl, engine, trans, and original door vin sticker. No build sheet was found. It currently has a 6 pack on it with MP valve covers. I have the original intake manifold, carb, air cleaner, heat stove, and valve covers which go with the car. It is one of 68 383 4/speeds built. The rear is a 323:1. After i puchased the car i added the vin to Galens registry and had the fender tag decoded as well. The paint and body on the car are really outstanding, laser straight with a top show quality paint job. The underside has not been detailed other than new exhaust, brake/fuel lines, p brake cables etc. The car is undercoated. All options are factory except luggage rack which was added on the correct style trunk lid with the raised holes, rear rubber bumper, and tuff wheel. Fender tag info as follows: line 1 E63 D21 BS27NOBxxxxxx, line 2 FE5 H6X9 000 B05 106031, line 3 V3X A01 A21 A62 C16 C55, line 4 G31 G33 J45 L31 M25 M31, line 5 M88 N41 N42 N85 P37, line 6 R22 V6X Y05 EN1. I'm in no rush to sell. THANKS FOR LOOKIN !!  E-MAIL  maddmaxx426@aol.com

after thinking about it i would just buy another car anyway so i may take partial trade one one of the following cars. i'm not interested in clones, projects, or concourse restored cars, i drive everything i own so its better if the underside is not done. numbers matching motor is not important, but it must be correct motor for car. THANKS!!!
Challenger T/A must be high impact color or black, 4 speed, no vinyl top
70 Roadrunner-must be factory black only, 4 speed, air grabber, 383 or 440, no vinyl top
70 GTX-same as above
69 Superbee-same as above
71 Cuda-i have a 71 in FE5 so a different but interesting 71 possibly
