That's cool, but wouldn't have it been "cheaper" to just use a stock 6.1L intake and throttle body?

Well, it's finally back on suspension with the engine and transmission installed.  I had to fabricate a transmission mount for it as well as the transmission dust cover (4L60E transmission).  That turned out good.  The car has a pretty good stance to it as well.  There's approximately a 1 inch rake to it.  I identified a bit of trouble that I need to think through though.  The hood is too low to allow clearance for the air cleaner.   Initial thoughts on courses of action; 1. different hood (I really like the AAR hood though), 2. Get the body shop to modify this AAR hood.   I'm going to think on this while I'm gathering the cash for the paint....

Anyway, not sure these pics show much change, but this is the car with the engine/trans/suspension under it for the final time.
