OK. Last questions before deal.. (I hope ;-)

Is it a big issue to built on a booth system for when the top is down..?

Is it a Challenger feature with the paintet bumpers..?

The "low-rider" stile looks nice, but is it just used up springs, or is this the way it should be..?

Am I far out, paying 45K for this:
1971 318/2, now 340cui. TF904, PDB, PS, PT, R/T clone decals only - NO fender tag - "Rotissiere" restored some 10 years ago.

Stance looks correct to me. Did they install new leaf springs? If not, I would. Helps bring the rear up a bit and also produces a nicer ride. As far as price, Not sure if 71 clones are really bringing that high of a dollar. But in todays market these convs are bringing all kinds of crazy money. Best of luck with your decision.

 :dunno: I'm not sure but it looks a wee bit low, more so in the front.  You can just crank up the torsion bars but that doesn't correct weak T bars.  Have to give it a jounce and go for a ride.

I don't think the painted bumpers were an option on Challengers.  It does look nice.  Cudas had Elastomer bumpers, sorta like rubber/plastic.  Not sure if Challengers did.

The TF904 trannies were usually found with 318 cars.  340 cars from the factory had TF727 trannies.  I don't know how hard you'll be driving the car.  Not sure if it makes a huge difference or not.

Have you seen/driven either of these cars?  :clueless:  Where are you located?  In Europe?   I just looked on your map.  You're on an island near Sweden???????  It's nice that you can even find 2 such nice cars there!!!!
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

I'm in Denmark, Europe, both the cars are in Texas... :clueless:

Ohhhhhh......  I wonder if there are any board members that are willing to check out the cars for you, go on a little test drive.  I'm not near Texas (Massachusetts) but if I were and had some free time I would love to check out these 2 cars.

painted bumpers were an option but they were not steel they were rubber when painted , very rare
the stance looks good to me many challs sit low from the factory
