8 track/Am hook-up

My AM/8 track has got me confused.  I understand the speaker hook-up but there is only a red power wire.  I was expecting a power wire for the radio lamp also since I thought it would be part of the dash light circuit.  Any ideas on why there is no separate wire for the lamp???

red hot wire ,orange light ,both in one plug.

But I don't have an orange wire at all.  There are the 3 speaker wires to one plug as expected but only one wire (red) to a single wire plug.
Any idea why no orange wire??  Could this radio be from a dofferent model???
