    1970 Cuda hood hinges

    Does anyone know what the difference is between 1970 and 1971-74 Cuda hood hinges? I have a 74 hood and hinges with 70 fenders, header panel, and hood latch. It’s not quite together yet to see if it will work.

    Also, the body shop would like some photos of the hood and trunk lid gap/alignment. They’re not Mopar guys (yet). Anyone have any phots or feel like snapping a few?

    The differences are cosmetic, they will work fine on your car. 71 and up hoods used a different dia. hood to hinge bolts but the hinges accept either size.

    Are the cosmetic differences something only a diehard numbers type person would notice, or it is quite obvious?

    Actually they were a cross over part from 70-71, it's not unusual to see 70 styles on early built 71's, not to worry concerning correctness on your car unless you are shooting for an OE Gold certificate.
