70 challenger at auction
« on: September 23, 2006 - 08:19:20 AM »
I'm going to an auction that has a 70 challenger, w/440, tubbed out, say's street legal.  The preview is one hour before the auction, with these pics what would you guess would be a fair price.

Thanks for your input.
Mike

I would guess the upper side of 15K, maybe 20-25k if the work is quality.  I would only consider it if you want to keep it Pro Stock style.  Would take some work to undo.

the Pro street stye seem to hold the lowest value , to me it looks like a tube chassis car with the engine moved a foot or so rearward in the car, if it is a certiufied tube chassis car the value could be close to 30 K
I agree I would not buy htis expecting to return it to stock

Thanks, I appreciate your help. I didn't even notice the motor pushed back like you said.  I'll have to see if they have any paperwork on the chassis.
I'll have about an hour to decide once I see it.
Looks like a fun toy.

Thanks again.

From the pics, I would LOVE to have that car!  Pro Street has always been my favorite type of car.
