I put a 472 Hemi crate motor in my 70 RT SE Challenger. Used the Schumacher mounts and they worked well but the dipstick had to be heated and curved around the mounts and the oil pump. No problems with that motor. I'm doing another Hemi for my 71 Cuda but I'm building this one myself. It will be a 528 with aluminum heads. I had to run a 69 charger style brake booster on the Challenger because the wedge booster will not clear. I see a lot of guys running a SSBC set up, M/C and booster.

Apparently, there were so many problems with the crate Hemi's everything got backed up. Good Luck!

Thanks for all the responses!  I've already contacted a shop here in Austin.  I was quoted $800 for the tear down and rebuild.  Does that sound like a fair price?
