Best way to remove penstriping?i dont have no stinkin LLamas!!!

whats the best way to remove penstriping without destoying the pain?I bought a stock trailer and want to remove this writing,i dont have no stinkin LLamas

Its paint,it says The celebrity LLama sale Ok city,in big letters

Try using masking tape around the outside of the letters to protect the base paint and then wet sand the letters of with 1000 grit wet sanding paper. Then wet sand the base paint with1500, power rubbing compond the finish.You could also try Easy off oven cleaner too,some times lettering enamel will come off with this also.

You can also try a little acetone and some fine steel wool.  It should soften and remove the lettering, The just compound and polish the area to get back the shine.

If it is a cheaper paint on the writing  , try carb cleaner on a shop towel.

Took some lettering off that was 8+ years old with oven cleaner. Was factory paint on the vehicle.
