In 72-74 the only call out for the Challenger was 340 four barrel on the hood.  Also in 72 the 383 was replaced with the 400.  B-bodies were available with this engine or the 440 big block as options. 
1969 Sport Satellite H code convertible, 1970 Cuda 440+6, 1970 Challenger R/T 440+6, 1970 Challenger 383 R/T auto, 1970 Challenger R/T 383 4 speed,1971 Challenger convertible.

Don't forget the 74 cars had 360 4bbl.

I am not 100% sure, but I do not think there was a 360 4bbl emblem on the 74 Challenger, but there was a cuda 360 emblem on the 74 cuda.

parts catalogue lists them and I bought new ones from Mopar back in the early 90's.

Yes, they had them.  I forgot to list them. The poor forgotten 360; which is a good motor and overlooked.
