Door Window hardware restoration
«

Hello everybody, I am posting again on this fantastic forum and I hope somebody of you can answer to this question.
I am doing a full restoration of my Cuda and I have just pulled the Door Window hardware.
Some parts are very rusty and the ehmm... I don't know how to call it (see picture two) is completely worn out.
Any Idea on what's the best way to restore these items? Does exist a shop who sells the small parts?

A few of the items in the top picture I believe had a fuzzie/padded material that the glass slides against, my idea for a make do replacement is the modern headliner material that is foam backed. Might not be as durable as the original but would serve the purpose.
Recently saw a topic on regulators suggesting R/T Specialties, a small one man operation with lots of goodies but a lousy web site. When I have called him he always knew exactly what I was asking for.

Are their prices pretty decent? I have sent a few theings to SMS Mopar and liked what they have done but they don't do the varity of parts as Funk brothers.
Their door latches go for over $400 on ebay wonder what the price would be if you supplied the cores.

I found some leather back fuzzy material at the local fabric store am just going to redo the window guides myself.... I looked for a while for these myself and this is the first place I have seen that restores them. RT specialties does not have these (I called) although he was very helpful in talking to him. I ordered some other stuff from them and it looks good.
I just couldnt see paying 19.00 x 4 for these little guides... I paid 8 bucks for the material and could do all of them plus 10 more with the left over stuff.
