  Sooo Funny guys. 

  I'll tell you, the Mallory I bought was so quiet I couldn't hear it with the engine off. Even when I felt it, I couldn't tell it was running. I guess technology does advance once in a while.

Here's another data point on the Holley blue pumps. I have two (2) of them running in parallel. Yes they are loud, but they both have been running smoothly for approx 15 years! The secret? I run them with a bypass regulator. It keeps them cool and happy.

I had a bypass regulator on my blue pump, had it for 9 years, no problems other than the noise.....
