Forgive me for not knowing but what is a A93 package?  I am not good at codes.  I didnt know a M46 was rare on a barracuda till I decoded my fender tag and someone told me :blah:

It's an option package called the "Challenger Deputy"   it was a lost cost challenger, only avalable in slant 6 or 318 drivetrains, FIXED rear windows (do not have operating mechs)  low grade vinyl seats, 3 spoke steering wheel. Sort of a "spring special" marketing technique to sell more cars.

Congrats on the new ride!! Should look much better with the rallyes on there.  Wonder why they didn't have the wheels pink, as they should have been in 70?

I think pink wheels would be a little over the top...just my opinion.

I did find out that 383's were also available in deputys, both 2 nd 4 bbl versions. Very few built though. total of just over 3100 deputys built, 1800+ 6 cylinders, 1200+ 8's. 16 383 2 bbls, 6 383-4's (3 autos and 3 4 speeds).

Joe,

Nice car, I'm very happy with it so far. Too bad i could not get the time to see it when you had it for sale, I would have bought it off of you then. You'll see me around in it, I'm going to do some detailing, and some upgrades in some areas. Only big change will be the wheels, I'm partial to 15 inch rallyes. Probably add a rim-blo or tuff wheel too. Also planning on front and rear sway bars and torque boxes.

I've always looked at it like I dont own em, just taking care of them for the next owner.
