got the 528 hemi started today.was going to break in the camshaft.started it and was running on 2000rpm when i notised that it started to be too hot and stopped it.i could not turn the distributor enough to get the timing correct.
i moved those plug wires one step and tryed to start it again.when it started it was a teriible sound.it sounds like it pushed the compression through the carburator.so i started to remove valve covers.it was not so easy,i must remove one shocks and heater box and my fuel filter that was mounted on the cowl.i found out that one of the rods to the valves was jumped off. >:(one of the adjusting bolts was loosen.i checked all the valves and started it up again and it runs great. :)what i nice sound through my 3" exhaust system with 40 series flowmasters and those original chrom tips.
i'll take some photo tomorrow
