'70-'72 rear bumper brackets
« on: November 14, 2006 - 09:13:51 AM »
Does anyone reproduce these or are they avalable through the dealer?  Or, can '73-74 brackets be modified to bring bumper closer to body?

Thanks,
Dan

I see them available on e-bay all the time.   :clueless: I guess you could make the others work with a cut and weld.

Not all brackets will match your bumper filler,if your going to use a 73 bracket you have to use the 73 bumper filler. The 74 bracket holes do not line up correctly with a 73 bumper filler, and likewise the 70-72... chopping and welding these to fit would be a nighmare..you see them on ebay but choose the right bracket for your application, each bracket also give you  depth of your bumper into the inlet shape of the quarter panel.
