Sounds like Just Dashes as well as other dash pad remanufacturers has (had ?) some details to iron out on the 70 dash pads. On 71 - 74 dash pads with no stitching to worry about things might be ok.

I picked up a 71-74 'Cuda dash pad at Carlisle.  It was recovered by Ultimate Rides in El Paso, Texas.    It was on an original metal frame and cost $475  + $100 core charge.    Overall quality is good.   Required some trimming to attach the dash lights & AC vents.    It doesn't seem to reach all the way to the base of the windshield though.   Its been so long since I removed the original I forget if it was like that or not.

Hey Cuda340, you said that you were going to send some pics of your new dashpad that you bought on e-bay.  Have you received it yet?  Is it quality?  Probably have lots  more ???

Depending on how bad your dash is, check your local phone book under vinyl repair.  I had mine done by a franchise called Dr. Vinyl.  Not perfect but great compared to what it was and very reasonable $125 for some serious cracks and redying it.

Just today I had him back after stupidly poking some new holes in my pad and he took care of it and fixed a hole in a seat for $85.

He even came to the house to pick the dash up the first time and to fix it on site the second.
