Buy, look up wires, ??   Year one sells them brand new.  Be careful if you get them elsewhere. I've found mixed up wires in the connectors from another company and lucky that the mix up didn't cause major damage or fire.

To look up wiring diagrams,  MYMOPAR.COM has some diagrams under the "mopar wiring diagrams" section under the "Electrical Specs" section.

Wiring is different for a big block and small block. Placement of the coil, distributor electronic or points for ealy or late '72, horn and washer pump placement, etc.

Rewire yours with the correct ends and longer wires or buy the correct big block one.

I will never buy from Evans again.
I ordered the wiring harness for the engine. They wired the connector at the fire wall in reverse. It took me a long time to figure why the car wouldn't start when Iturned the ignition key. It was by accident that I noticed the key would turn on the headlights for an instant. When I tried the light switch it started the engine.
When I called him he didn't apologize or anything. He said maybe he will check the other harnesses he had in stock.
Not a good experience.

I guess we acn all have a bad day , probably had a flunky wiring them looking at the other side of the bulkhead connector
but he could have treated you better for sure

Those are the same people that I wouldn't buy from either. 2 wiring problems with 2 different sets of wires from them. The guy must be color blind.  Pay the extra money and get it from Year One.
