I just use parts store 9Car Quest) add on coolers. They are just like Goody's, come with mounting stuff, hoeses, etc, for like $60. I've never seen the ties wear thru a radiator. Not on any car, and that's  working professionally on them for a while too. I do however use 3/8 fuel line to "space"the cooler off the radiator core.

:iagree: If you get the "zip ties" tight enough, they shouldn't do any moving around. :working:

I got a cooler a while ago but have not installed it yet. What I was wondering is in what direction of flow has the best cooling. Do you go from the radiator to the air cooled and back to the tranny or vise versa----or does it make any difference ?

Go to the radiator cooler first, then the auxillary cooler , then to the transmission. :2thumbs:
