SCAT Rotating Assy?
« on: November 25, 2006 - 12:20:22 PM »
Has anyone used one of these, I'm looking at the 340/416 kits.  Would they be costly to balance?  I know it's not high dollar and all, but I'm looking for street performance and maybe an occasional trip to the strip.  Any info would be appreciated.  The kits seem to be @850 w/out rings and brngs.  The kit# is 1-98011-1 from <<flatlanderracing.com>>  I need to do something this winter besides wait for my car to come back from paint!

Thanks

Tom

Thanks Chryco, maybe someone has here.   I got a quote from them to balance the rotating assembly for 2-250usd, does that sound reasonable?

typically to balance an eninge here cost me around $400 so it is reasonable
