First thing to do is make sure you have a good ground on the wiper motor. Bad grounds will cause all kind of squirlly things. Take a wire from the motor housing to battery negative, if that fixes it, you need to clean the ground strap on the wiper motor and the point where it grounds to the body. Second thig to check is if you have the correct switch, and then if it's working properly. Often the most common problem with the 3 speed wiper motors is they wont park (bad park switch)
