Not a good day today at work...
« on: December 08, 2006 - 09:21:28 PM »
Today, I walked out to my car after work and noticed someone clipped my drivers side front fender!  :swear: :stomp:
It's not real bad just creased it, but it's right on the body line, and they didn't leave a note.
Being that I'm wiring a mansion, there was a bunch of workers from different companys all over the place, so there was more than a few trucks.
So I grabbed my tape measure, measured how high the scratch was and checked every damn workers truck all the way down the street for either black paint or if they wiped it off at least there would be a scratch or dent there.
After checking all the trucks and coming up with nothing, I get back in my car to leave, totally pissed off when I notice a couple of roofers that keep looking at me, at that point I had one of those "somethings fishy here" feelings, I jump back out of my car and go back to there truck which has tool boxes down the side, and sure enough I find a small dent and just a little black paint on the side of there tool box which happened to now be parked very close to a trailer...........trying to hide something maybe....
Anyway I get the guys bosses #, and then have a few words with the guy who of course acts like he didn't even know he hit it.
His company can deal with my insurance company now.

That sux!   :swear:   It's bad enough that they hit your car, but to try and hide the fact    :misbehaving:  and just let you deal with it it pretty low.    :pullinghair:   I hope their boss has a word with them about how to treat co-workers and their stuff.   :grinyes:  I hope it all works out for you and doesn't cause you any more aggravation...    :2thumbs:   :cooldancing:

Excellent work , Its bad enough you have to go thru the hassle of fixing your car, but you don't need the a$$hole hiding it. Eveyone should try and keep a small tape measure and disposlable camera or buy a cheap digital camera in the glove box just for that reason and some good ones too. Hope you get it straighten out.

I'm glad you figured it out.  Some people would have just given up in exasperation.  Did you call the cops...I'm sure they would have had something to say to those nice upstanding citizens.
