I feel better today. I got 9.5 hrs sleep last night. Still have that funny gurggling sound in my chest when I breath, but my energy level is back up. I'm going to go a little easier today and pace myself. Front end work on ebodies or b bodies is simple. So I will do the passenger side upper and lower bushings and ball joints, strut rod, brakes, and wrap that up. It's in the air so I will change the oil. (15 minutes) then drop the trans pan and change out the shift selector seal, re seal the dipstick tube and install the reverse manual valve body and install the deep pan. Then I think I'll box up those liscense plates and ship them to Barry. I decided last night that I was going to put the car cover back on the barracuda for now and center up on the challenger for a week or so.  But I will atleast finish the 6pk engine by monday or tuesday just so it's together.

Besides feeling stiff and sore from working, I really do feel better after that long restful sleep :2thumbs:

I know how you feel, I've been sitting here at the house now for 5 weeks nursing these broken ribs and looking at my Cuda sitting in the driveway. I need to pull the heads on that 392, but they weigh 75 pounds each and there is no way I can pick them up. I told my son that if I couldn't get to where I can do it by early spring I'll have him pull them! Patience is overrated! :faint:

At 1 in the afternoon, I closed the shop and came inside. Of corse I did the oil change, covered the barracuda, and then pulled down the whole passenger side of the suspension on the challenger. Got lower bushing out and in, lower ball joint on, strut rod installed, lower control arm installed, upper ball joint out, and then 1 upper bushing adjuster bolt is stuck in the bushing. I fought it since 10 oclock. Now everytime I bend over I hack and cough and I got a sore throat now. Plus the crap that's gurgling in my lungs when I breath is making it hard to just concentrate on my car. So I came inside to the warmth and I am gonna just take it easy and do absolutely nothing. I see my work wants me in clarksville Mo looking at an email I refuse to open right now. I'll be it's cold there too.  Plus my duramax and trailer is in Sioux City Iowa. I am not going to go running the states this winter. I'm going to play hooky the rest of the year.

Anybody heard of Holcim? It's a plant in clarksville Mo. I wonder what's broke there.

update-------- I lied  at 330 I went back out and was done by 530. I couldn't stand setting in here. The rusty upper bushing bolt finaly gave it up. And it cost me 220 bucks to come inside. I went cruisin on line and ended up getting a new cam and lifters from comp cams. It will be here friday :2thumbs: Inside cost me more then outside working..... :working:

 Your right about my wife. She went out and got me some nyquill and sucrets. This helped me a bunch for today. I was suprised to hear FedEx rolling up my driveway bringing me my new comp cam and lifters. I ordered it at 2pm yesterday. So it will go into the 6pk engine this weekend for the 70 barracuda.

For an update,.... The front end is finished as of noon today. And the front swaybar installed too. I got everything all picked up and then put the challenger on all 4 jack stands. Got the new cheetah reverse manual valve body and  mopar performance deep pan out of there boxes.  So now in a bit, I am going to replace that stuff and then install the airshock lines so I can keep 30psi pressure in there so the car doesn't squat so much when I nail it. I think if the weather is fair, I will go cruising in the challenger saturday and have it aligned too.

I really hated to put the car cover on the barracuda, but my wallet loves me for it. :2thumbs:

Well Dodgefreak, I will try and get some pictures taken of the final results. Because it came off the jack stands today...yes... All new front end, swaybar, cheatah reverse manual and deep pan, standard disc brakes. I need to go get it aligned now. But when I test drove it, it went straight down the road. I do need to raise the front up another inch too. It's at 25 inches in the center of the wheel well. Feels real good tho with the 410's I just put in it a couple of weeks ago. I have to change out my dash pad after the holidays.
