What just went down?

man,was checking out the burnout thread and all of a sudden got pop ups all over my screen,is there a virous in there or what,tried a few different topics and got nailed?

I don't see any problems with the board right now.  We've never had pop-ups on here. :dunno:

Sounds to me like you might have picked up a nasty little bugger in your PC!  I would go to the panda online scanner and check your system out just to be sure you're clean!   :thumbsup:

 :dunno: Never encountered pop ups on any thread here, but occasionally when you click direct on a link posted in a thread they can give ya a headache. ?

I know what you mean, most toolbars are spyware in disguise but the pop up blocker feature is the first I've tried that works & from what I can tell the GOOGLE people haven't sunk to the level of info gathreing.

I have no need for a pop-up blocker as my system is clean.  Sure I get one once in a while because I go to a site that generates it.  Probably had 3 this week.  But nothing that is a constant problem.  In my experence, I haven't ever seen a good toolbar and most will cause you problems.  I have 25-30 computers running in my offices that I maintain and I've seen alot of them.  Some are very difficult to get rid of too!   :swear:
