1995 Neon Help!

My mother in-law has a 1995 Neon that I have been known from time to time to come on here and ask about it.  Now here Neon when at a stop will either stall or rev very high, she says that the car is almost undrivable now?  Do you guys have any idea what this can be?  Im slightly mechanically inclined and could fix the issue if I knew what it was.  Thanks for your time.

Maybe the Idle air sensor?  Look for an electrical hook-up on the Throttle body, try cleaning it.  Maybe it's called a throttle position sensor.

My 93 Daytona did that and it was the speed idle sensor
