Bidding went up to 75K in October, 60K in November, and no bids at 50K in December. Looks like the market is not so great right now. It's a shame 426 hemi clones can go for 100,000 but this car with potentially more horspower, more gas mileage, more reliability, and more work to convert can't command the same dollars. Even so I plan to do the same with my own convert. 5.7 on the ground waiting to go in.

Since the 5.7L Hemi gets cheaper and cheaper(and some of the other parts needed) and there is 5.7L Hemi Challengers and Chargers for sale now and then, and that 426 is the real Hemi :blah:

I tryed doing a 5.7L swap but did not forfilled it(lack of money)...

The conversion isn't that easy. There is alot of fabracation which causes hundreds of man hours as mine was over 700. Theres a reason you don't see alot of these conversions and theres a good reason why XV Motorsports are getting over 200K for their Challenger Converts and for that price you have to provide the car!!!

I know its not easy(since i tryed it)and its expensive but still its cheaper than putting a 426 crate in a smallblock car. Anyway you did a great job on the Challenger and i hope you get your money back
