Finally I see some progress
« on: October 27, 2010 - 01:48:17 AM »
Still along way to go, but with it all one color of primer it looks like progress. What it really did was show up all the little spots that I need to take care care of. My goal was to have painted this year. I think I will be able to have the engine compartment , trunk and door jambs done. The rest of the car I may have to wait to next year since I got laid off a few weeks ago. If i can get the underside and the engine compartment, door jambs , interior and trunk at least I can start to reassemble a lot of parts while I wait to do paint the outside sheet metal. Here is where it was at one time to now. I had to replace the trunk floor, right side Q-panel, and both front inner fenders. I replaced the tail panel also. First time for me to take on a body project like this.
