    subframe connectors and torque boxes

    I have a Challenger with a big block in it that was originally a 318 car. I want to put the contoured subframe connectors in it to stiffen the frame up. What role do torque boxes play in this if any? I would rather not get them if they will not help the rigidity above and beyond the subframe connectors. Any advice or insight would be great  :feedback:

    both the subframes & tq boxes stiffen the chassis but they do different things , the tq boxes stiffen the frame where the leafs attach in the rear while the frame connectors reduce flex between the front & rear frame
    I would do both

    Wheres a good place to buy torque boxes from? I purchased subframes & a driveshaft loop for the 'Cuda from US Car tool but they didn't have torque boxes. I don't mind paying for the best.........in other words, no cheap crap. lol

    Here is my 70 Chally up at AutoRust Tech in RI.  You can see the torque box and the frame connector installed.  The bottom is painted rust-stop black.
